A FAI-protected 18th-century villa on a wooded promontory in Lenno, made famous by Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Casino Royale. Ceremonies are held on the loggia overlooking the lake. Limited to 75 guests for ceremony, available evenings only.

How We Plan Your Wedding in Italy

Full-service destination wedding planning: creative direction, venue selection, vendor curation, budget architecture, on-site coordination, guest experience design, and multi-day event production. From your first consultation to your last dance, ELLEFFEVENTS manages every detail of your wedding in Italy — so you never have to.

1. Initial Request

You submit your request for a quotation. We do not send a generic portfolio or price list. Instead, every proposal is tailored to your vision and needs.

2. Booking a Consultation

You schedule a consultation call through our calendar. This ensures our first conversation is structured, private, and fully dedicated to your project.

3. First Consultation

During the first call, we discuss your budget, vision and desires, preferred locations or regions in Italy, and the ideal package based on your expectations. At this stage, we also guide you toward the best areas for your type of wedding.

4. Contract & Deposit

Once you decide to proceed, you sign the contract and complete the deposit payment to officially secure our services.

5. Second Consultation

After the contract is signed, we schedule a second video call dedicated to building the detailed budget together, creating the moodboard to define the wedding vibe and aesthetic, and understanding your priorities, style, and the price range suitable for potential venues.

6. Venue Selection Phase

Within 7 days, we deliver a fully tailored Excel comparative file featuring 5 to 10 curated villas — including prices, services included, key information, pros & cons, availability (if requested), and videos and photos from site inspections, where we analyze every angle for Plan A, B, and C.

7. Full Access to Google Drive

You receive full access to a private Google Drive folder containing all signed documents, planning files, scripts and timelines, music lists, guest lists, moodboards, budget sheets, supplier proposals, and more. Everything is transparent, organized, and updated in real-time.

8. Ongoing Work Structure

Throughout the planning journey, we work on 2 to 3 topics at a time, ensuring focus, precision, and a smooth, stress-free progression toward the wedding day.

How far in advance should we book your services?

For luxury destination weddings in Italy, we recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance. This gives us time to secure the most exclusive villas (which often book 12–24 months ahead), curate the right vendor team, and design every detail without compromise. We currently accept new commissions for 2027 and 2028.

Do you only work with US-based couples?

Our specialty is destination weddings in Italy for couples from the United States and internationally. We are fluent in English, work in US time zones during planning calls, and understand American wedding traditions, family dynamics, and expectations. We also welcome couples from Canada, the UK, and beyond.

What budgets do you typically work with?

Our average wedding budget ranges from €150,000 to €500,000+, with celebrations regularly exceeding €1M for multi-day experiences. We work best with couples who prioritize creative vision, exclusive venues, and flawless execution over cost-cutting. We do not offer packages or templates.

Can you handle the legal paperwork to get married in Italy?

Yes. We coordinate the entire civil, religious, or symbolic ceremony process — including documentation from your home country, translations, apostille services, civil registry appointments at the Italian comune, and (when applicable) Catholic or interfaith ceremony permissions. Most US couples opt for a legal civil ceremony in the US followed by a symbolic ceremony in Italy, which we plan as the main celebration.

Do you have preferred venues or can we choose our own?

Both. We have deep relationships with the most exclusive private villas, historic estates, and luxury hotels across Lake Como, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Capri, and Florence — many of which are not publicly listed. We also welcome couples with a venue already in mind. Within 7 days of contract, we deliver a curated comparative file with 5–10 venues tailored to your vision, complete with pricing, services, and our on-site notes.

How do you coordinate vendors from across the ocean?

Distance is never a concern. You'll have a dedicated planner as your single point of contact, all documents centralized in a private Google Drive, regular video updates throughout planning, and a complete on-site team in Italy on the wedding week. We've delivered weddings for couples we never met in person until two days before the event — and they've been flawless.

What is the payment schedule?

A non-refundable deposit secures our services upon contract signing. The balance is structured in 3 to 4 milestone payments aligned with the planning phases (venue confirmation, vendor commitments, final balance 30 days before the wedding). All vendor payments are managed transparently through our agency, with full visibility for you on every transaction.
